My love of
Basset Hounds started back in 1978 when I had one as a pet. I did show him once
but family commitments prevented me from becoming serious.
In 1985 I moved to the Vale of Evesham in Worcestershire with my second family,
where many years later (1993) I established my Woferlow Kennel with my first two
show Bassets from Carol Daykins Barratini Kennel.

Barratini Daisy Dumpling had a successful show career and had two litters of
puppies. From the first little to Bassbarr On Parade at Andyne, I retained
Woferlow Dark and Delicious (Grace).
Woferlow Dark and Delicious and Barratini Cracker Jack produced me with my very
first Stud Book Number Winner Woferlow Summer Edition (Lulu).

Daisy's second litter to CH Moragden Muscavado with Clavidar produced 7 puppies, unfortunetly Daisy died suddenly after returning home from the vets and no puppies were reatined from this litter.
BARRATINI CHATTERS at WOFERLOW
My second
girl from Carol Daykin was Barratini Chatters (Holly). Holly didn't like
showing, but excelled herself in the whelping box. When mated to Bassbarr
O'Sullivain I retained Woferlow Hot Gossip.
Her second litter when mated to Gladsomes Valentino at Barratini, I retained
Woferlow Crazy for You (Cleo) who doesn't like showing, but like her mum has
produced some lovely puppies.

Woferlow Hot Gossip has had two litters. The first one, when mated to CH
Dereheath Keaton, produced some lovely puppies and I retained Woferlow Hello

Hettie's second litter to CH Balmacara Trumpeter produced my first Champion Woferlow Ice Maiden (Rosie).

Woferlow Crazy for You
Woferlow
Crazy for You was recently mated to CH Balmacara Trumpeter and from this litter
I have retained Woferlow Missy Elliot (Missy) and Woferlow Angel Delight
(Poppy).
Missy and Poppy are 9months old and have only been to three shows so far and are
doing very well.
Ch.Bassbarr September Sonnet for Woferlow
The third bitch I bought in
was from Bill O'Loughlin's Bassbarr Kennel. Bassbarr September Sonnet for
Woferlow (Ellie) enjoys showing and is fun to show. She has achieved 2 CC's, 1
with BOB and 1 RCC.
